Shines with shist, flutters with flowers
The Pissares is a blend of Garnacha and Samso from three vineyard sites. The soil is made up of decomposed slate, called Llicorella in Catalan. Lively red fruits with purple plum tones and a fresh, floral sensation hit the nose. The fruit notes continue onto the palate balanced out with a bright stoney minerality provided by the llicorella - that is subtle, but once picked up, impossible to ignore.
